All items are handmade and engraved to order. Production takes up to 2 weeks before dispatch — this is the time we spend crafting your piece to the standard it deserves.

Yes. Every engravable product is fully customisable. You choose the text — names, titles, dates, coordinates, or any personal message. Front and back engraving is available on padlocks. Use the configurator on the product page to enter your text and preview the result.

We offer five padlock sizes: 20, 32, 38, 50 and 60 mm. All locks are made in SS304 stainless steel and engraved to order. The table below shows dimensions, engravable surface area, chain compatibility and weight for each size.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping time varies depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

We offer a 90-day return policy. If you want to exchange for a different size or are not satisfied with your order, contact us within 90 days of receiving it and we will find a solution. We take pride in every piece we make — if something is not right, we want to make it right.

Please note that personalised, engraved items are made specifically for you. For these, we handle returns case by case rather than as a standard exchange — get in touch and we will find a way forward together.

We choose the grade to match how each piece is worn.

Chains, dog tags and harness hardware — SS316L. A marine-grade, molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel selected for prolonged skin contact. Corrosion-resistant, and stable against sweat and salt.

Padlocks — SS304. A tough, corrosion-resistant stainless steel used for the lock bodies. Padlocks are designed to be worn on a chain, displayed or carried rather than held continuously against bare skin. If you have known nickel sensitivity and plan to wear a padlock directly against the skin, contact us before ordering and we will talk it through.

Selected products are electropolished for an even finer surface finish.

Yes. The 20 mm lock takes chains up to 6 mm, the 32 mm lock up to 8 mm, the 38 mm lock up to 10 mm, and the 50 and 60 mm locks take chains up to 12 mm. You can order them separately or reach out to us to build a custom combination.

Nickel sensitivity is one of the most common contact allergies, triggered by prolonged skin contact with metals that release nickel over time. Under EU chemicals regulation REACH (Annex XVII, entry 27), items intended for prolonged skin contact must not release more than 0.5 µg of nickel per cm² per week — a limit measured using the standardised test method EN 1811.

Stainless steel resists this because chromium in the alloy forms a dense, self-repairing passive layer on the surface. In SS316L, added molybdenum makes that layer significantly more stable against chlorides — sweat, salt and moisture — so it holds up under the conditions a worn piece actually meets.

The result is a metal that stays comfortable in daily wear, and a well-established choice for people with nickel sensitivity. If you have a diagnosed severe nickel allergy, we recommend checking with your physician before wearing any metal against the skin.

Our chains, dog tags and harness hardware are made from solid SS316L stainless steel, selected for prolonged skin contact and for low nickel release in line with the REACH limit measured under EN 1811. For most people with nickel sensitivity, SS316L is among the better-tolerated metals available.
